Tributaries is a CD with evocative music by LA-based composer Scott Hiltzik, who is a composer, pianist and educator with an extensive catalog of original compositions for solo piano, various ensembles, theater, dance and voice. His music has been performed by major symphony orchestras including the Baltimore, San Francisco, Atlanta, Detroit, New Jersey, Oregon, Edmonton, and Honolulu, in addition to the Sydney Symphony at the Sydney Opera House. In 2004, "The Music of Scott Hiltzik" opened k. d. lang's Symphony Orchestra Tour in select cities.
